What does the Paraguay residency really cost?
With us, between 1,890 and 2,690 EUR per person as an all-in price, including all government fees, translations and the Cédula. The pure state fees come to around 400 to 500 EUR; on top of that come translations, apostilles, running around and a lot of experience with the authorities. Doing it yourself is cheaper, doing it with guidance is faster and more predictable. There are no hidden extra costs with us.
Is the Cédula included in the price?
Yes, always. The Cédula (Paraguayan ID card) is part of every one of our packages. We say this so clearly because the most common documented complaint in this industry is packages that only include the residency card and then charge dearly for the Cédula later. Without the Cédula you can do practically nothing in Paraguay, no bank account, no contracts.
How long does the whole process take?
Honest answer: the authorities set the pace. Realistically, expect 45 days to 4 months for the residency depending on the package, then 1 to 3 months for the Cédula. The officially stated deadlines are shorter, but practice varies. After you book, we tell you where things currently stand and keep you posted with status updates.
Do I have to do a consultation call before booking?
No. You book your package directly through the booking form, with no mandatory call.
